Nerve Pain - Trigeminal Neuralgia, Sciatic

The most common type of neuralgia (nerve pain) is trigeminal neuralgia. Originating in the brain, pain signals are sent via the trigeminal nerve to the skin of the face and the surface of the eye. The pain is described as sharp electric-like spasms that last a few seconds or minutes. Attacks can be triggered by common daily activities such as brushing your teeth, shaving, chewing, drinking, eating or lightly touching the face.

Working with your primary care physician and neurologist, our pain specialist will recommend a treatment plan aimed at relieving your pain. With treatment, most patients are able to improve their quality of life and find it easier to perform daily activities.
